How would someone get their baby into the modeling business?
I have a adorable 7 month old daughter and I've been told several times that she could be a baby model. Does anyone out there know where to begin with that sort of thing? Who would I contact about it? Where do I start to get her modeling?

- Local events in towns with populations of 30k or greater often occur annually if not every quarter of the year to find new faces. Personally she might look great for modeling but if you haven't modeled yourself, modeling can be quiet annoying and emotionally hard on a child. They are set up seperate from mommy sometimes in warm clothing, UNDER lights (which make it warmer) and that can make any human being grouchy. Before considering this, I'd first think long and hard about your childs personality before considering doing it. Some children are very loving and happy but if you have a lot of people looking at you at that age a child can be seriously upset especially when mommy can't really comfort (by holding) while the activity is going on.
- YUK!! that's an outrageous Q! how can you think of making your 7month infant get into the modelling business and make you get more greenbills perhaps?!..wait till she's much older to be able to decide for herself.
- There are usually baby pageants in just about every community. I would look for them. Also you could pick up the yellow pages and look for modeling agents in your area. Even if they don't agent for babies or children they probably know who does. She will need a portfolio you can contact local photographers and see if any are willing to help you put one together. Good luck.
