What is the best modeling clay to use to make small models?

I am making a DNA model and it is due on Monday, it is not going to be a big model, probably 10 or 12 inches tall, what is the best modeling clay to use for a model like this? Easy to sculpt, but sturdy enough not to melt off.

1. Super Sculpey ceramic like sculpting compound. (hardens in low temp oven). You can get it at hobby stores. or on line. they come in 1lb. boxes. there is white, which seems to be a lot more pliable than the flesh colored. they're under 10 dollars last time i checked. hope this helps
